Privacy Policy

Pardy DJ Co. (“we”, “us”) runs this website, www.pardydj.com. This page says what we collect when you use it, why, and who sees it. It applies to this website only.

What we collect

• When you check a date or book: your name (optional at first), your email, the date you picked, the artist you chose and the chapters you built. If you tick “Send occasional planning notes”, we keep your email for that.
• When you sign in to your client area: the name and email your Google account shares with us, so we can show you your booking.
• Automatically: the pages you visited, the link that brought you here, your browser type, and your IP address. Our booking form also runs a bot check (Cloudflare Turnstile) that looks at your browser to tell people from bots.
• A small note in your browser (local storage) that remembers the date and chapters you picked as you move between pages, so you do not have to enter them twice. We run no advertising pixel. We do count page views — with Google Analytics 4 only if you allow it, and with Cloudflare Web Analytics either way, which sets nothing in your browser; see below.

What we use it for

To check your date, hold it, book your artist, and send you the planning emails for your own wedding or event. If you opt in, occasional planning notes — you can stop those with one click in any email. We do not sell or rent your details to anyone.

Who else sees it

Only the people and tools that do the work: the artist you booked, the service we run the site on (Cloudflare), our booking calendar (Calendly), our sign-in provider (Google), our payment processor (Stripe) and our records (Google Workspace). Each keeps your details only to do its job. Some of these companies store data outside Canada. We may also share details if the law requires it.

Stripe. If you pay a deposit on this site, your card details go straight to Stripe, our payment processor — they do not pass through our site and we never see or store your full card number. We send Stripe your name, email address, phone number, your event date and which artist you booked, so it can take the payment and so we can match it to your booking. Stripe is a processor and stores this outside Canada; it has its own privacy policy. If you never pay a deposit, nothing of yours reaches Stripe.

Google Analytics. If you press Allow on the privacy bar — it appears at the foot of the page once you have scrolled past the first screen, never on arrival — we load Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-L59QNB4W4F). It tells us how many people visited, which pages they read, roughly where in the world they were and what kind of device they used. It does not tell us who you are, and we do not use it for advertising. Google is the processor and stores this outside Canada. If you press No thanks, or simply ignore the bar, nothing from Google is loaded at all and no analytics cookie is set.

Cloudflare Web Analytics. Cloudflare already serves every page of this site, and it also counts the page views for us. This counter runs whether or not you answer the privacy bar, because it is not the kind of counter that bar exists for: measured on 20 September 2026, it sets no cookie, keeps nothing in your browser, and gives you no identifier that could follow you anywhere. What reaches Cloudflare is the address of the page you asked for and your IP address — which it already receives in order to send you the page at all. We see how many visits a page had, never who you are.

Cloudflare error reporting. Cloudflare, which serves every page here, also asks your browser to report a request to this site that fails to complete — a browser feature called Network Error Logging. Measured on 20 September 2026 from the headers Cloudflare serves: a request that succeeds is not reported at all, a report goes to an address at Cloudflare, and your browser is asked to remember that instruction for seven days.

How long we keep it

For as long as we are planning or have played your event, and as long as our records and tax rules require after that. Ask us and we will delete what we are not required to keep.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email lucas@pardydj.com or call (778) 953-4048. Unsubscribe links are in every planning note.

You can also change your analytics answer whenever you like. This re-opens the privacy bar with your current answer cleared.

Security

We use recognized providers and current security practices, but no website can promise perfect security.

Changes

We may update this page. The date at the top tells you when. Using the site after a change means you accept it.
