Terms of Use

These terms cover the use of this website, www.pardydj.com, run by Pardy DJ Co. (“we”, “us”). By using the site you agree to them. Your booking itself is governed by the contract we send you, which comes first if the two ever differ. What we do with the details you give us is set out in our privacy policy.

Checking a date and booking

Showing a date as open is our best reading of four artists’ calendars at that moment; a date is only held once we confirm it. Choosing an artist and a time on this site books a planning meeting — it is not itself a booking of your event. Prices shown are in Canadian dollars and before GST.

Deposits

Some dates can be booked straight from this site by paying a deposit. The deposit is 30% of your total, including GST, and the exact figure is shown to you before you enter any card details. Paying it holds your date and your artist.

The deposit is non-refundable, and it can move once to a new date. You tick a box saying so before the card form opens, and we record the wording and the moment you ticked it. The rest of what you owe, and when it is due, is set out in the agreement we send you within two business days — that agreement governs your booking, and these terms give way to it wherever the two differ.

Card details are handled by Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number. Your payment is in Canadian dollars.

While you are on the card screen we hold your date for about half an hour so nobody else can pay for it. If you close the page without paying, that hold releases on its own and the date goes back on sale — no payment, no booking. Dates less than 30 days away cannot be booked online; please call or text us instead.

Your account

If you sign in with Google to see your booking, keep your sign-in to yourself. Tell us if you think someone else has used it.

Our content

The words, photos, video and design on this site belong to us or to the photographers who let us use them. You may view and print pages for your own planning. Please do not copy, republish or sell any of it without asking.

Being straight with each other

Pricing and planning details we share with you privately are for your event, not for passing on. In return, we do not share yours.

Links to other sites

Some links go to sites we do not run — our booking calendar, our sign-in provider, and the venues we name. Their own terms and privacy pages apply there.

What we cannot promise

We work to keep this site accurate and available, but we cannot promise it is error-free or always up. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss that comes from using the website itself. Nothing here limits liability the law does not let us limit.
